Nut butter smoothie
So this is the one! This is always my go to breakfast. Life can get very busy and when your up at 4am you need something quick, nutritious and filling. Im a big advocate on starting your day with a good breakfast. This one was originally part of two separate overnight oats recipes which I combined to a smoothie.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 Tbsp flax seed (I use a crushed nut mix containing flax/almonds/Brazil nuts/walnuts/CoQ10)
- 1 Tbsp chia seed
- 1 Tbsp peanut butter
- 1/4 Tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 Tsp cinnamon
- 1 scoop protein (your preferred protein vanilla works well)
- Milk (your choice of milk we use almonds)
Method
Place all ingredients in to a blender, blend until smooth. Use more milk for a thinner mix less if you prefer if thicker
