ISN'T IT COUNTERINTUITIVE TO USE OCEAN WASTE TO CREATE PRODUCTS THAT MAY RELEASE MICROPLASTICS BACK INTO THE OCEAN DURING WASHING, CONSIDERING THE GOAL IS TO REMOVE PLASTIC FROM THE SEA?
While it may seem counterintuitive at first glance, the use of ocean waste to create products aims to address the issue of plastic pollution by repurposing existing materials. It is possible to mitigate this concern and contribute positively to efforts to remove plastic from the sea by taking some measures ourselves during washing, wash all synthetic materials on a lower temperature of around 30°C and we highly recommend the use of a microplastic washing machine filter or a guppy friend laundry bag. Which stops microplastics in your washing machine. We all have our part to play in stopping plastic pollution.
